Reflections

This year I want to do more with photography. I have plans to buy a new camera and at the moment I am trying different things with the camera I use at the moment. I especially like to get a bit more creative and last week I went out to see what I could find. I saw these reflections in the water and liked these very much.

  1. Lovely pictures! Have you considered joining Instagram or some other photo-related website? They're good for inspiration.

    1. Thank you! No, I haven't thought about that :-) I must confess I do not really understand instagram, but I do like Pinterest.

      Kind regards,

    2. Instagram is pretty easy to use, and you can switch your profile to private, so your pictures wouldn't be publicly visible. People would have to send you a request to follow, and so you can choose who sees your pictures. I'm not into Pinterest and have no idea how it works, but I have met some lovely people via Instagram, and some accounts are really inspiring.

    1. Yes, I also really like them. And I like that I was able to make these just around the corner of my house :-)

    1. I use a compact camera now (Canon SX600 HS), and I am thinking about what is called in Dutch a 'systeemcamera', a systemcamera' perhaps in English? Not a DSLR camera since I think they are too big and too heavy and I would never use them, but a camera in between. And since my compactcamera is from Canon, I tend to focus on that brand. :-)

Do you have a good camera en what type do you use?

      Kind regards,

    2. I have a Canon now--one of their powershots, and it's been a pretty good camera. I used to have Nikon SLR, which I LOVED, but then film became scarce, and I had to make the switch to digital. Someday I might go back to a Nikon again, one I can focus myself, because I miss that. But until then... :)
